Sofrito’s Tropical summer celebration in Paris! Some of the hottest sounds from around the world in a four-way international Tropical Soundclash, bringing together Quantic (Cali, Colombia), Nickodemus (New York), the Sofrito Soundsystem (London) and the Hot Casa crew (Paris) to celebrate the summer in a Tropical style!
Expect the heaviest in Afro Latin sounds all night long at the great Cabaret Sauvage in the Parc de la Villette- hope to see you there!

Avec Sofrito, son propre label, il fait régulièrement découvrir des perles et vient de sortir en 2011 chez Strut une compilation simplement incroyable, incomparable, indispensable ! Il est à l’origine du revival et de la
diffusion des rythmes tropicaux outre-manche, trouvant de plus en plus de résonance en Europe, et bien sûr le parrain de Tropical Discoteq !

After a bit of a break we’ve got the keys to a never-before used warehouse in Central Hackney and are ready to celebrate in classic Sofrito style!
To make the occasion extra special we are excited to announce that we will be joined by the excellent Owiny Sigoma Band for a heavy live session that promises to tear the roof off!
Lining up alongside the Sofrito Sound System will be several surprise guests DJs, MCs and percussionists to help you dance the night away, and of course the Sofrito Rum Punch to quench your thirst…
We hope you can join us for a vintage Sofrito knees-up and banish the autumn from your thoughts and feet…
The Owiny Sigoma band’s album on Brownswood Recordings is one of the best releases of the past year – putting a London approach onto some heavy Kenyan sounds for a Luo-London Soundclash. Recently nominated for a MOBO award and having rocked numerous festivals over the summer, they are looking forward to a session in the salubrious surroundings of an East London warehouse – the gig promises to be extra special and is the last before their winter hibernation…
Entry is £10 in advance (plus £1 booking fee), more on the door. Spaces are limited, please get your tickets early to ensure entry!
