Sofrito in Paris!

SOFRITO Night ….Le Meilleur des sonorités Tropicales

DjOOn on a Tropical MOOd avec en Special Guest

HUGO MENDEZ ( Sofrito – Soundway / Uk)
Et nos Residents Djs
EMILE OMAR ( Nova – Domino / Fr)
RADIO SALAH ( Raw – Soul Train / Fr)

Après Benji B (Deviation), Theo Parrish (Sound Signature), Trus’Me (Disco 3K), Vadim & Yarah Bravo (BBE/Ninja Tune), Danny Krivit (718 Sessions)…

Biguine, Afro & Latin Sounds from the French Caribbean » sur l’incontournable label Soundway.

Natural Self “Fire the Body Remixes” coming soon!

Saturday February 20th 2010, 12:24 pm

SOFR006-sticker

The next Sofrito 12″s sees talented producer Natural Self sprinkle some of his studio magic onto some heavy African sounds – heavy percussive sounds that mix up vintage rhythms and modern club attitude.  Check the clips below!  Mr Self has also put together a tasty mix of tropical dancefloor goodness – check it out here…..

Time to loosen them bones…

A1: Fire de Body (Natural Self Remix)
B1: Les Noirs (Natural Self Remix)
B2: Coco koda (Natural Self Remix)

“Ok these are banging! As expected, the Sofrito camp pulled some heavyweight selections, and Natural Self knocked ‘em out of the park with his trademark hyper-organic drums and arrangements that honor both the vibe on the original tunes and the asses on any dancefloor..”
Jeremy Sole (89.9 KCRW / Afro Funke’ / Musaics)

ENORMOUS love!! Pure fire!”
Dom Servini (Wah Wah 45’s)

“Absolutely loving these tunes! Natural Self combined some essential elements: from heavy percussive beats to melodic rhythms plus some nice and warm synth sounds on top.
Can’t wait to play them out. Another brilliant Sofrito release that just won’t leave my bag.”

Dusty (Jazz & Milk, Germany)
